For the longest time I just didn't listen to Wiz because I kinda just assumed he was a stoner with bad music. I mean, he smokes hella weed, but his music is actually pretty enjoyable, so I guess I was only half right.
My friend Nick sent me this song a while ago and I've kinda been waiting to post it cause I still had that weird apprehension about posting Wiz Khalifa even though I've posted some of the most atrociously weird music all over the place. I hope ya enjoy this, it's got a pretty dope beat and flow to it.

So the frontman for Dark Sermon didn't want to be done with music when the rest of the band decided to go on hiatus. He took his energy and has decided to channel it into Prison.
Always having been open about mental problems, Crowder has taken the lyrical theme of Prison to a whole new level with lyrics that blatantly showcase struggles and problems that need to have a much more open dialogue.
I'm really looking forward to this album, it's gonna be crazy dark, have killer music, and all in all be great from the reviews I've read so far. I'm pumped man, gonna be great.
This song is hella tight. There's some nifty Deathcore influence in the music here that I just love.

Another really solid entry into the Christian Hard Rock scene, here we have Decyfer Down. They've had a reasonably solid crossover success since 2009 area.
Their songs are solid. The general sound of Hard Rock has always been really hard edged, but these guys manage to hit the right mix of riffs to rhythm that I'm just really digging.
A lot of what they play reminds me of some of Disciples stuff, it kinda makes me wonder if they work together at all. They share a label, so I almost wouldn't be surprised.
Shout out to my bother for this song and band though, I look forward to learning more about them and getting more into some of their music.

This is a really solid Punk song that was recommended to me a while ago. Initially I was interested because the name of the band. I haven't seen IT yet, but I'd have to live under a rock not to have heard of the name of the clown, ya know? I had assumed that it would be some sort of novelty act and I was really pleasantly surprised to hear actually good music.
The have a lot of really solid songs too, and their sound is exactly what I look for when I'm listening to Punk Rock. Like, if I had like 3 more of them I'd be really happy.

I'll be honest, this is a last minute addition. I was going to post a Kendrick song, but I realized that I have an awful lot of Rap and Hip Hop going down recently. Not that I'm gonna stop or anything, but I'm still gonna try and break it up a bit.
This song is off of A7X's album that just reeked of throwback riffs and such. Not to their music so much, but more as a tribute to the Metal bands of the 80s. Reasonably solid stuff, and this song was really fun when it came out. This and Shepard of Fire were my surface level favorite songs on the album.

So a little bit ago I mentioned a story about 2 Chainz. Here's the story.
Firstly I just learned that he graduated with a 4.0 from Alabama State. Like, yo, that's freaking awesome for him.
But I also learned that he's a rather decent debater. Or at least he is when he's debating somebody who's just not willing to listen to the other side. I watched a 30 minute video of him debating Nancy Grace that was honestly one of the most infuriating debate I've watched since watching literally anything involving Kent Hovind. Screw that dude and his ignorant shite attitude about everything.
But yeah, 2 Chainz was trying to debate why he believes marijuana should be legalized. Nancy kept showing videos of parents forcing their 2 year old children to smoke pot, and 2 Chainz kept attempting to point out that you could also find videos of parents giving their children alcohol. Nancy retorted with "I don't want to live in your world where kids can either get drunk or get high, why not neither?" It was really hard to watch, but 2 Chainz was really collected the whole time, so that was really cool to see. He also talked about how he doesn't smoke cigs or do hard drugs, so that's a respectable thing. Sure he raps about doing drugs and such, but that's his music and not his personal life.

Every now and then you need a good basic chug band, yeah? Godsmack is that chuggy Rock band that everybody needs in their life from time to time.
Their albums all sound the same for the most part, so really it just boils down to finding the album with your favorite rhythm on it, or your favorite weird mysticism track. I have favorites throughout their albums, but it's really hard to find them because so many of their songs sound the same that I have a really hard time tracking them down without having lyrics to Google search.
Like this song. The line is "Better f*cking go away" but I always thought it was *In a f*cking doorway", so finding this one was hard enough even "having" lyrics to search for. Solid tune though, so I hope ya like it.
