Chapel - Satan's Rock 'n' Roll

Band: Chapel
Song: Satan's Rock 'n' Roll
Album: Satan's Rock 'n' Roll
Genre: Speed Metal, Black 'n' Roll

One of my all time favorite bands, Chapel knows how to bring the heat.  Coming out of Vancouver, they are probably my top choice if I'm gonna listen to a satan band.  Lyrical themes include satan, alcohol, and rock & roll, so you already know it's a good time, yeah?

I feel like these guys sound like Motörhead mixed with Venom, which is not at all a bad thing.  I love Motörhead, and anything that sounds like them with a twist is 100% cool in my book.

If you're into a more traditional (albeit sped up) kinda of rock & roll , you can check this little tune out.  There's a super classic sounding solo in it, I think y'all might like it.  This song is one my my favorites though, so without further ado...

You can follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, or even sponsor me on Patreon. No big, do whatever. But yeah, Twitter and Facebook are where I’m most active.

Chapel - Hellrazors

Band:  Chapel
Genre:  Speed Metal, Black Metal, Black N' Roll
Language:  Some
Themes:  Satan

Here ya go, another band that sings about Satan!  This isn't nearly the same as Ghost though, this is much more Metal.  You may remember way back when Jeff used to post?  Well he posted one of these guys songs then.  If you followed me this long then that's sweet and if not, go ahead and read his post.  He's an amusing fellow with decent music taste, he just doesn't like helping me or being tied down to projects he didn't decide to do.

Anyway, the song is a really fun song.  Think Venom mixed with Motorhead.

On a side note, Cooking With Alcohol pt 4 happened yesterday!  I learned that I don't like bourbon too much, and that I put way too much in my burger.  You see, I tried to make a bourbon burger, and it didn't go too well.  Far too much bourbon.  Maybe I'll get it right next time, eh?

Guest Post: Chapel - Alcoholocaust

Chapel are a Black n' Roll band from Vancouver Canada, whose sound can best be summed up as a combination of Venom and Motorhead. They formed in 2008 and released their first full-length album, titled "Satan's Rock 'n Roll", in 2012.

You may not have heard of Black n' Roll, so I'll fill you in on that, it's a pretty straightforward combination of Black Metal and Rock n' Roll.

Lyrically, Chapel tend to keep the focus on the important things in life; Rock n' Roll, Alcohol and Satan.

Today's song is Alcoholocaust, which is my favorite song from Satan's Rock n' Roll, not just because it's about booze and genocide, but because it's got a pretty cool bass solo in the intro, and I cannot resist a good bass intro. I mean, listen to it and tell me that's not awesome.
