Here's some Foo Fighters music I'm actually quite excited about.  This song is a really nifty "Stomp Rock" kinda sound that makes me wonder what the rest of the album will end up like.  Like, if it's all like this I might start enjoying them, it's a good musical direction for them.

It made me think of what Kongos sound like honestly, which is a sound I'm not fully familiar with but enjoy nonetheless.

Foo Fighters - Rope

I rather like this song's intro.  The way it starts didn't lead me to believe the song's chorus would sound like it did but I'm mostly ok with it.  It's honestly one of my favorite songs that I've heard from Foo Fighters because of it.  It's not as generic as I tend to expect a lot of their stuff to be, which I suppose doesn't say much of my opinion of them, but that's fine.

Honestly Dave Grohl, talented though he is, is mostly a sort of joke, ya know?  He's great at what he does, but all the quotes and things credited to him, and things like that have made it hard for me to actually listen to him.  He talks a huge game about "Rock" and stuff, but at the same time he's all boring as hell.  His music is predictable almost all the time, so what does that say about his comments about the state of modern music?  He's part of the problem too honestly.

Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly

Guess what guys, guess what!  My top 10 list is (still) almost done!

Had a lot of fun at my Superbowl party the other night.  My friend accidentally drank way too fast and ended up laying on his bed making faces at the ceiling around the 3rd quarter so I went home, haha

The halftime show sucked though, for real.  Didn't like it at all, and it's not just because I generally dislike Coldplay, the show was just garbage.

In honor of garbage show, here's some nice middle of the road Rock music.  Enjoy!

Foo Fighters - Everlong

When I started listening to these guys last week I asked my brother why, since I had never set out to hear them, did I feel like I knew all of their songs?  His answer was because they are very generic radio rock and that I have heard them that way.

He understated that.  They don't just sound like generic radio rock, they are radio rock.  I have heard so many of their songs that I never knew were them it's crazy.  I'm impressed honestly.

Side note, this is day 3 of my Grand Opening, we're officially opening the store to the public tomorrow, it's been all training up till this point.

AFTERNOON EDIT:

Yeah, so I'm about to head in for this evening.  I have hardly interacted with the employees as of right now actually, I've been all with the chicken thawing.  We had a guy who transferred in from a different and already knows the system so I didn't really teach yet.  Today I'm supposed to be in charge of "cooked food handling" so we'll see how it plays out.  Tomorrow is the big day though, 10am till 12 am approximately.  #Excitement
