I would be remiss to talk about female vocalists and not touch on anybody from the Christian community.  Whether you like the message or not you really can't deny that there are some rather fantastic musicians in that genre.

Since singing is the only thing that average church goer care about though a lot of the time only the vocalist are highlighted.  Other people may point out instrumental things, but for the most part that's reserved for the people that play the music.

The only thing that bums me out about Lauren Daigle is just how good she is.  It's hard to find somebody that can do her songs justice honestly because she has incredible control and range on her voice.  Like, what's going on in this song is nothing for her, this is basic work for her.  She can hold it up live just as well as studio.  You might remember her from doing the Christmas song I posted I think last December?  It's too late to actually fact check now, and I don't remember the name of the song to tell you to look, but trust me, it's good.

Here's one that I used to listen to all the time.  My mom had a couple of his concerts on VHS and whenever me or my brother weren't watching a movie of some sort they were in.  Any time we listened to music one of his tapes were in.  Mr Kenoly was somebody that I grew up with for a great many years.

Phil Wickham - This Is Amazing Grace

You know what?  It's Sunday, let's post some Jesus music.

This is a song we do at church a lot and it's one of my favorites.  It's really freaking hard to lay since the entire song is 8ths on bass with the exception of the chorus.  You can hear it best in the verse, but that's how it goes the whole times.  Honestly it probably goes like that through the chorus a bit too, but my fingers can't quite handle that.  After 1 rehearsal and two services my fingers feel about ready to fall off.  Basically the worst thing ever, but the song is so much fun that I don't even care.

If this isn't your cup of tea then I'm sorry.  I'm sure some of the Satan stuff that I posted during Halloween wasn't everybody's favorites stuff either.
