Ayy, it's time for me to be a proud brother again, cause I can.

So Jeff, the dude that posted the other day, is my brother.  I know, shocking.  But he's in a band, and that band is Still Waiting.  Now while he's not on the recorded album he has been playing at all their live shows for the last like, 2 years.

I freaking love these guys, they're such a solid, nice group of people that anybody should be happy to have in their lives.  More importantly they've got a fantastic live show that's only gotten better as the years go by.  Last summer their singer almost lost use of his hand due to a car accident so a good portion of his recovery time was spent working on their light shows.  Not like they didn't work on them before or anything, there was just extra time.

Check them out on their website here, or if you're a spotify fan like myself you can stream them there as well.  Consider supporting them too, since the digital download of their CD is only like $5.  I personally spend more than that in energy drinks a day, so I'm sure you can manage to drop a few dollars on them, yeah?

Still Waiting - Breathe Again

Yo, so it's kinda bragging time here.  My brother managed to land the lead guitar gig for this group some time last year and has spent a ridiculous amount of time practicing since then.  I'm honestly not really joking when I say I really don't see him outside of work, he's out with these guys so often.

That's not really important, just something I thought I would mention.

Anyway the really cool thing is that they are playing Creation Festival this year.  They managed to swing playing last year but my brother wasn't fully part of the group then so he didn't actually go play with them.  This time though he's been in the group long enough to actually know all of their material and he's gonna be one the stage with the rest of them.

I'm freaking pumped about this as any older brother would be, so I had to tell somebody about it.  I suppose it made sense to tell the entire internet, right?

He's not playing on this track, but they are writing new songs that he has a hand in so there's some more stuff to be hype about.  If you want to see his work you can hear our songs on Soundcloud or his solo stuff on his Soundcloud.

Still Waiting - Ever Haunting

So I'm gonna plug some of my friends today and show you Still Waiting.

There is a possibility you've heard of these guys before because they actually have been featured on the Ellen Show.  Not in person mind you, but because of this guitar flip.  If you watch at 1:18, you'll notice that, not only are they a meh sounding band, but they also have a very very famous mess up.  Like, this has been circulating on the interwebs pretty strongly since it happened.

I am happy to say however, that the band has improved very much since then.  Both in talent and in not throwing their guitars 40ft onto pavement.

Ever Haunting was released in the summer of 2013 and, while the band is still a smaller act, they did almost sell out during the cd release party.

Personally, I like some of the other tracks on the album a little better, but they don't have any of them on YouTube for my to show you.  They are on Spotify though if you want to look them up.
