I was originally thinking of posting something about Lemmy Kilmister today, since he was one of my favorite bassists before he died at the end of 2015.  However, Mötorhead is a rather popular band, so I feel like that's not enough of a deep cut band.

Love and Death is a band that was formed when Korn's guitarist, Brian 'Head' Welch, left and found religion.  He did some solo stuff, but after a while his band cut down to a much more compact crew, who became L&D.  Personally, I'm a huge fan of the stuff he did with this band.  The music was really tight and just fantastically produced.  He's back with Korn now, helping elevate what they have going on as well.

These guys kicked in when I was full bore in my Metal Poser phase though, so I was a huge fan.  Heavy riffs, a Metal icon, and also something I could play around anybody cause it was clean.  Basically perfection.

Love and Death - Meltdown

Yeah yeah, going up a little late, I apologize.  I was catching up with a friend last night after work and forgot that I hadn't written this.  Realistically you're much better off having me write this now instead of at 2:30 in the morning though, I'm an absolute mess then, haha.

So Love and Death, Head's side project outside of Korn.  They're really a fantastic group who are really funny guys, as you can see in this video, and I think they're putting out an album this year?  That's the rumors I'm hearing at least.

Love And Death - Watching The Bottom Fall

Band:  Love And Death
Genre:  Nu-Metal

Here we have some more modern Nu-Metal that is very much of the Korn variety since the band is lead by then former, now current Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch.

The band is really solid though, if you like this song you'll probably enjoy the rest of the album.  It's not as religiously preachy sounding as Head's first album was, so if you listened to that and had issues in that way you don't need to worry.

Love And Death - Whip It

So I don't know how many of you ever listened/listen to Devo, but they are a rather interesting musical group.  Early New Wave music.

Now for anybody unfamiliar with Love and Death, they are a band formed by Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch.  They are nothing like Devo.  Metal/Nu-Metal music.

So seeing the difference in bands and eras these guys come from, you'll probably be as surprised as me when you find out that Love And Death covered one of Devo's songs.  Actually you probably won't, but it's still a cool thing to tell people.
