Any time I really need some solid Metal type of stuff I always turn to Lamb Of God. Randy Blythe's vocal work is some of my favorite in the industry so honestly it's really hard for me to not be happy with their music. As long as they keep up freaking groovy riffs like there are in this song coupled with Blythe's wonderful voice I'll be happy with them forever.

And at long last we finally get to the last band of my top 10 list.
Like I said before, this list was in no particular order which is why there were some of the heavier bands earlier in the list as well as later on. I didn't really want to rate them all like that, but if you want me to I can link to a Spotify playlist with them in what I would consider to be a decently good order.
I didn't know if I would include these guys on my list or not honestly because while they're heavy enough, I feel like a lot of people don't think of them that way. They don't tune low so they can't cheat that way, and they don't play slow to create the impression of heaviness there either.
But despite these facts I added them because they qualify, in my opinion, to be on this list.
Listen to the breakdown in this song. It's one note. Just one note repeated for like 20 seconds or whatever. Most times I would say that that's a really boring breakdown (like this) but these guys manage to not only pull it off, but keep the rest of their material to the same level.
I also absolutely love Randy Blythe's vocal work. He's a freaking beast and a huge inspiration to me. I know I'm not likely to ever be able to sound like him, but it's a goal anyway.

I'm not sure what kind of music I should call these guys really. On one hand I want to call them early Metalcore, cause they heavily influenced that, but I also kinda want to call them Southern Metal. Eh, I suppose it's not really important, right?
So apparently most of the vocals on this album were recorded on a Shure SM58 mic without a pop filter. This is a reasonably impressive feat I gather from all the metal vocal forums I looked at talking about it.

This song is probably one of my favorite songs by LoG, though that does bug me since it's one of their singles and the hipster in me wants to like the song that isn't as commonly enjoyed by people. Ah well.
The song has some pretty trashing lyrics if you listen to it. It talks about the singer of a band being a total.. Well, Redneck. In some interviews the band said that it was about any singer who you thought acted like that and that is still a pretty good explanation. However, it is not entirely true.
Turns out the song is actually about LoG's singer, Randy Blythe. The band tends to take their frustrations out in music, and apparently some of the band had some issues with their singer's attitude. I'm not sure if Randy knew about it right away, but it is public knowledge now and whatever came from it is long past. They still play it, so he either doesn't care or has matured enough to know that it's just a song.
I may have mentioned this in the past, but Mashups are some of my favorite kinds of music. Seriously, there's no beating a good Mashup, especially when the two songs really shouldn't mix. This is one of those.
Tik Tok Redneck is a mix of Ke$ha and Lamb Of God. These artists should never be in the same event, much less the same song, but for whatever reason this worked really well.
The creator of this song, Isosine, has done some seriously good work with Mashups, but this is without a doubt one of my favorites.
