Yesterday was my cousin's wedding and I've gotta say, it was an amazing wedding.  Super chill, good food, tasteful decorations, and they brewed their own beer for it and designed a label to go with.

As I tend to though, I'm going to list several of my favored songs by the 3 or 4 female pop vocalists.  I only have a couple that I actually follow so it's generally gonna be the same cycle for a bit, yeah?

Gotta love Lady Gaga though, she's a fantastic vocalist and a great performer.  If you didn't catch her halftime show take the time to check it out.

There's certain things I'm done with.

I'm done working in food service.  I don't care if I end up in another retail job, but I'm done with professional kitchens.

I'm done trying to make everybody like me.  Firstly, it's impossible.  I will never make everybody like me, and trying to do that only makes me miserable.

But in an area that matters more to you guys, I'm done pretending that I don't like certain songs just because they don't fit the image I've developed for myself.  That's not to say I'm getting rid of my general "Metal Thug" aesthetic cause I still enjoy that, but I'm gonna be a lot more public about how I enjoy certain artists like Lady Gaga or Kesha.

For crying out loud, they're both straight up fantastic vocalists that a lot of people write off because of the impression they get from their stage show.

Enjoy the song, it's a solid pop tune that's easy to listen to.

Lady Gaga - Perfect Illusion

A bunch of my friends were making fun of me for how hyped I was about Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance this year, but I feel like I was pretty justified.  This is the first performance in years that hasn't had featured acts, and I feel this is really important since the last few years felt like they were pulling in anybody who was breathing so they could stay relevant.

Lady Gaga is a performer.  She's honestly good at what she does and never disappoints with a gigantic stage show of some sort.  This performance was no different, hitting most of her big hits in a smooth manner while also keeping a massive group of people active.

I found it to be a really good show.  Yeah, it was obvious that there was some lip syncing, but I feel like it's not like that should be unexpected for the Halftime Show.  She did also sing live on the lead lines so I don't know what you'd complain about.

I dunno, I thought it was fantastic.  What did you think?

Lady Gaga - David Bowie Tribute

I'm assuming a decent number of you watched The Grammys.  I did not, hence I missed some coolish stuff like this.

I didn't know how many of David's songs I was familiar with until I heard this honestly.  Not an artist I ever really listened to, ya know?

This is really good though, the visual effects in the beginning are more than a little impressive, and the performance is spot on.  Please enjoy this tribute to the late great David Bowie.

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance

Yeah, Lady Gaga is weird.

I don't care what you say about her though, she has a really amazing voice.  Her approach at music is a little different, but she really is all about the show.  There aren't too many people willing to devote their life to their passion in this way actually, which is what I think is the most interesting part of her.
