As long time readers may remember, I was a huge fan of Purple Lamborghini from the Suicide Squad soundtrack.  The whole thing was just (in my mind) a game changer in the rap scene.  I'm not familiar with anybody else who had done songs like that at least, mixing Rap and Dubstep is just a good idea, ya know?

Well Deadpool 2 straight murdered Suicide Squad's attempt at making this work.  Welcome To The Party is a by far superior version of Purple Lamborghini.  The vibe of the song is just a little darker, and while I love Rick Ross, these features work a little better.

It's also worth noting that this is probably the best flow I've heard Lil Pump use yet.  I'm really excited to see what new material he comes out with, maybe he will live past 20 after all.

French Montana - Ocho Cinco

So I don't really have too much to say about this song outside of some fun little trivia.

Now as a non sports guy, I had to be told that Ocho Cinco was this football dude Chad Johnson who, while with the Bengals, legally changed his last name from Johnson to Ochocinco to reflect his jersey number, 85.  Smart move, right?

So in the hook French says "told that bitch give me head, Ocho Cinco".  This is a reference to the fact that Chad headbutted his new wife during an argument.  So that is already something that just screams "wow, you dumb" to me.

Also later in the song French also says "Ocho Cinco, that's a head-banger", another reference to the headbutting.  I know it's not a funny situation, but it really makes me laugh a little cause it seems so far fetched.  Like, who headbutts people?  That's dumb dude.

Fun fact, this song is misspelled on Spotify.  It says "Coule" instead of "Couple".  I thought it was just a stylization but it seems like every version I find elsewhere (including the album icon on Spotify itself) says "Couple".  Ah well.

This is another song I discovered when I was on my 2Chainz streak a little bit ago so I thought I'd share with ya.  Tomorrow's song is also going to have Mr Chainz on it, but it'll mostly be focused on another artist.  I think you'll like it though, it's much more Pop-y that Rap-y, and I'm gonna assume that you guys will like that a lot more than this, haha.
