A to Z Challenge: H is for Hayseed Dixie

I know I posted these guys really recently but I had planned on putting them in here first so that's just my bad, ya know?

Bluegrass covers of all your favorite Rock songs though, you can't deny that that's really cool.  I don't care if you hate Bluegrass, you hear the hits of AC/DC played like this and you're gonna fall in love.  Maybe not in love, but at the very least you'll fall in like.

It takes some creative people to get something like this going.  When they started you can tell it was a lot more joke oriented but as the years have gone by it's obvious they've accepted their niche place in culture and have refined their sound to fit that.  This song for example sounds a lot more polished than Highway to Hell.

So I'm making a Spotify playlisy of all the songs I've posted on this blog (mostly) and when I was trying to put in the Hayseed Dixie song from ages ago this was the first song in the suggested list.

Like, holy crap.  This song is gold.  I love it more than words can describe because it's just that awesome.

Hayseed Dixie - Back In Black

Since 2001 Hayseed Dixie has been giving bluegrass tribute to AC/DC and other such classic rock acts.

If there's something I like more than Mashup songs, it would definitely be cover songs.  But not crappy covers like what a good number of tribute medleys turn out like, really good covers.  But still, Hayseed Dixie is one of those fin niche bands that you didn't know you needed.

Seriously though, Bluegrass is a really fun type of music to listen to sometimes and when it's covering AC/DC and you can get a laugh out of it it's even better.
