Eminem - Till I Collapse

Artist: Eminem feat. Nate Dogg
Song: Till I Collapse
Album: The Eminem Show (2002)
Genre: Rap, Hip Hop
Language:  Strong

Gotta love some old Eminem, yeah?  Not a huge fan of his newer stuff, but these older tunes are ones I can get behind.  I've tried to like his newer stuff since I'm a firm believer in moving forward and not holding the past on a crazy pedestal.  That being said, some older things are just better, and Eminem's career is a perfect example of that.  I like angry Eminem, and unfortunately drugged out angry Eminem is better than sober angry Eminem.

Dr. Dre - The Next Episode

Artist:  Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg
Genre:  Rap
Language:  Strong
Themes:  Drugs and such

I only ever heard the remix of this song before, and it's a very different thing.  Recently I got GTA V (amazing game by the way) and one of the radio stations started playing this song.  I recognized it a little bit so I checked the title and boom, here we are.

On a side note, I'm actually really excited to see Straight Outta Compton.  I have plans to see it next week so you might want to be prepped for some more rap than usual this week.

I really enjoy Snoop, not gonna lie.  His old stuff isn't bad, and his new stuff just sounds like he's totally smoked out and it's enjoyable to me.

Eminem - Shake That

Here we continue my trend of liking dumb music.  Seriously, there's no redeemable qualities to this song.

I don't know though, there's a really big appeal to simple repetitive music that just kinda flows.  Songs like this are what I like to start my music with to be totally honest.  I'm not sure why, but the driving bass and stuff helps me get ready for the day.

Fun fact, when I rap along with Eminem's song "Real Slim Shady" I apparently sound like Cartman from South Park trying to sound like Eminem.  I'm not sure how to feel about this, since it really makes me sound like an idiot.  Eh, That's me though.  Friend first, boss second, and entertainer third.
