So first things first, I was on the radio yesterday.  This was honestly one of my life goals, and the fact that I got to do it with two good friends of mine just made it all the better.  Ideally I'll even be able to get in on some more of these.  My friend has her show every monday at 4 and really it's something I feel like I could get used to being a part of, ya know?  She did invite me back, so I plan to take her up on that offer whenever I can manage to.

But yeah, here's some music, eh?

Once again, one of my favorite art acts.  Everything these guys do just is so well performed I don't even know what to say.  Like, this video is a beautiful bad trip going on with all the black lights and stuff, there's nothing I don't like about it.

And musically it's nice and braindead for me to listen to.  These guys make some of my favorite music to keep me active while simultaneously having zero content to it.  It's gorgeous.

Hey, since I did the christian music thing for like, 6 or so days I figured I need to go straight in the other direction to even things out, right?  I could do some satanic band or something, but I kinda like the psychotic party atmosphere of Die Antwoord as my switch up instead.

I mean, their music is really catchy and their videos are really weird works of art, so it's not like I'm giving you garbage.  This is all hella high class garbage instead.

I dunno, it's not as good a video as some of their other ones, but it's one of the songs I like the most, so that counts for a bit.  If you wanna watch a video about a party that goes bad rather than this weird black and white thing, here's a different one, eh?  Also good.  I freaking love these guy's videos, they're so freaking great.

Die Antwoord - Fatty Boom Boom

I maintain that Die Antwoord is probably one of the most artistically free groups out there.  They honestly don't seem to care if you like what they do or not because that's what they like to do.

They're videos are honestly really off putting, but it's like you can't stop watching once you start, ya know?  I feel like I fall into a hole as soon as one of their videos start.  If it's not a music video then it's one of their surprisingly high energy live shows.

The videos are all directed by Ninja (the dude) and he's got a really interesting style.  He works with really start color contrast all the time whether it's the black and white costumes or the vibrant colors.  I dunno, there's something about what they do that I really enjoy.

I'm not a huge fan of aspects of this video, but the actual parts with music are rather fantastic.  I dunno, it's a good time.

¥o-landi and Ninja are a weird duo.

Die Antwoord - Rats Rule

So Die Antwoord released a new album last week or so.  I'm not gonna review it right now cause I need the time to actually give it a more solid listen, but look for that soonish.

This song is kinda fun though, mostly cause of the novelty factor that Jack Black automatically brings, ya know?

Solid album from my first listen though, so make sure to check it later.

Die Antwoord - Baby's On Fire

Yeah, maybe this isn't the best song to post on a Sunday but I love it so you can hear it.  Die Antwoord is a rather strange group, but I really dig it.  I don't know what it is about them, but the weird art angle they're coming from is just something that I'm really into.

The music itself is really catchy too, all bouncy and stuff.  I'd love to see one of their shows to see everybody freak out to it.  I'll probably never see them since they're kinda weird, but it would be an experience to be sure.

I heavily regret not having these guys be the official post for D.  I don't know why I thought it would be better to have Dream Theater there considering these guys are much more...  unique.

Bygones be bygones and all that.

Die Antwoord is a South African group that I can only describe as artists.

Their lifestyle is a tribute to their music and vise versa.  They take what they do very seriously while simultaneously not taking it very seriously at all.  The style they have is called Zef.  Basically if you're Zef that means you don't really care about what other people think and such, you just care about being you.

Actually if you saw the movie Chappie then you'll have seen them.  They're featured quite heavily in it as I recently found out.  Like, literally two days ago I found this out.  I haven't seen the movie yet, but I really want to now, ya know?

Anyway, their music is clutch.  They've got this crazy dance club vibe going that just screams "I did way too many drugs", but it's also really cool.  You can tell that they really don't care how you feel about theirs stuff while managing to put out a quality product.

This is a weird video, but all their other videos are rather weird as well, so take what you will.  I love their stuff, so if you trust my opinion there's that, right?  Without further ado, please enjoy a video about when art videos run into music videos at like, 100mph.
