A to Z 2K17: F is for Fetty Wap

Artist:  Fetty Wap
Song:  Wake Up
Album:  Wake Up (Single)
Genre:  Rap, Hip Hop
Language:  Strong

I'm really happy that Fetty Wap is continuing to make music.  It's not like I thought he'd stop or anything, but it's comforting to know that he's still putting out some fun, chill music.

This is a really funny song to just kick back with, and as is Fetty's style, the lyrics just flow smoothly.  I'm really glad he's at this point and settling into a groove that's a little better than before.

Here's F then, hope you liked it!  Share or comment to let me know.

Fetty Wap - Trap Queen

Artist:  Fetty Wap
Genre:  Rap, Hip Hop
Language:  Strong

Hi, my name is Noah and I listen almost exclusively to Rap and Metal.

I'm gonna do a bit of a diversion after tomorrow though, try to go for some stuff I don't usually listen to.  Also we're almost to the April A to Z, so that'll be a blast, right?

Fetty Wap - 679

Artist:  Fetty Wap feat. Remy Boyz
Genre:  Hip Hop, R&B

You may remember our good friend Fetty from the Lil Dicky song I posted a few days ago.  I started listening to him a little more a bit ago and recently I've just kinda begun to like him more and more.  His stuff is catchy and for stuff that's really popular it's actually pretty good.

2 things that I know you're gonna wonder about though.

1.  His lost left eye (the closed one) to glaucoma.

2.  1738 represents Remy Martin 1738 Cognac, which is what his group Remy Boyz got their name from.

Lil Dicky - $ave Dat Money

Artist:  Lil Dicky feat. Fetty Wap & Rich Homie Quan
Genre:  Rap, Hip Hop
Language:  Strong

This guy is actually really funny to listen to.  He's got lyrics that both don't make sense and make a lot of sense, like this song.

This is a song that's all about saving money in the most stingy sense.  The video was shot for free by just asking various locations to let him use them for 15 minutes which is all documented in the music video/documentary.

I just generally enjoy his stuff so far though.  I didn't even know he was white at first actually, he sounds like he's doing it right and not in a cheesy way.
