You never find songs like this covered, like, ever.  Nobody would cover Wu-Tang's Shame On A N*gga because firstly, it's an iconic song that's heavily associated with the group.  In addition to that, there's the content of the song.  Nobody covers rap music, and nobody covers one with a heavy reputation.

It's amazing though, like any of their other covers they've done System straight up murders this track.  And the fact that they got RZA on it too just makes it better in my opinion.

I'll admit I really don't know as much about Wu-Tang as I'd like to since I'm posting them, but I suppose that just kinda fits in with the week thus far, eh?

The dude that was playing Rammstein asked me if I ever listened to Wu-Tang.  I've only really listened to this album, but it was really solid in my opinion.  I saw a graph once that ranked rappers by unique word count and  it ranked Wu Tang as #2, #6, #7, #9, #20, and #23 out of 85 total.  That'a hella impressive.

Just found out today is the theme release day for the A to Z so I think it'd be good to weigh in.

My theme is gonna be posts about either people or less known bands.  I'm also going to do everything I can to get a music video to go with it.  Sound cool to you?  Me too.  Honestly just check out the rest of the stuff I do.  I'm a daily blog already so what I do is mostly gonna be the same, ya know?

Wu-Tang Clan - Shame On A Nigga

First off, before anybody freaks about the title just please, shut up.  It's a word, it's the title of the song, and I don't mean it disparagingly.  Yes, I'm white.  No, I'm not racist for typing the title of a song.

Cool, I'm glad we got that out of the way.

The first time I heard this song it was being covered by System Of A Down.  It's a very fast and aggressive song in that version that works surprisingly well, but we arent' here to talk about that.

I just started listening to Wu-Tang recently, so I don't know too much about them other than that I like them.  Still though, that's how a lot of the music I give you is, right?

I can tell you that there's 9 of them, and they all have interesting nicknames.  That's all I've got though, other than that the group influenced an awful lot of rappers today.
